Where is The Belvedere Hotel?

The Belvedere Hotel is located at 141 King St E. in downtown Kingston, walking distance to the waterfront, Queen’s University campus, market square, as well as the best food and drink the city has to offer.





What time is check-in? What time is check-out?

Check-in is after 3pm. Check-out is 11am. If you would like to request an early check-in or late check-out, please contact us directly and we will do our best to accommodate.





Are all rooms the same? Can I make a room request?

All rooms at Belvedere are unique, varying in size and layout, but all share the same luxury and amenities. We are happy to make a recommendation for your stay, but we cannot guarantee specific rooms for your stay.





Do you offer parking?

We offer limited paid self-parking ranging from $10-$25 per day. It is recommended that guests arrive at the loading and unloading zone on King Street East in front of the hotel for check-in and luggage drop off.


It is recommended that parking arrangements are made in advance to ensure a smooth and convenient experience during your stay. Note, a parking tag is required for all parking areas and will be provided at check-in. 





Is The Belvedere Hotel accessible?

Our heritage property preserves many distinctive features of its original 1800s design, including entryway steps, doorways, windows, and a grand staircase. As a result, we do not have elevators or certain modern accessibility features, which may make our property less suitable for some guests. 





What if I need to cancel my stay?

We understand that plans can change. Reservations can be canceled or modified up to 72 hours prior to your scheduled arrival date without penalty. Cancellations made within 72 hours of arrival will be non-refundable. Once a reservation has been confirmed, any cancellations, date or property changes will be subject to this cancellation policy. No refunds will be given for late arrivals or early departures. Event and holiday reservations are non-refundable. Please contact The Belvedere Hotel in the event of cancellation.





Can I bring my pet?

While we love furry friends, pets are not permitted at The Belvedere due to allergies. If a service animal accompanies you, please send documentation at the time of booking.


Is there a restaurant onsite? 

Located within the heart of the hotel, our lounge offers an ideal setting to gather inside or relish the evening out on the patio. With a focus on simple, high-quality ingredients, our menu brings together a variety of carefully selected dishes by head chef Matt DeMille. Guests can choose to add breakfast to their stay at time of booking, served daily from 7:30am-10am. Our dinner menu will be served daily from 3pm to 9pm. 


Do you have a spa? 

Coming soon! Journey to the lower level of our restored 1880’s mansion with original limestone, brick, beams and arches to experience an old-world space and indulge in the ancient ritual of thermal baths.
